About Us:

Milford Regional Medical Center has one of the busiest emergency departments (ED) in central Massachusetts seeing approximately 55 thousand patients annually. In 2015 a new building was erected that allowed us to increase its size from 30 to 50 beds. The new design provides a safer environment for patients, includes family space to allow them to stay with their loved one and an improved working environment for staff.  Enhanced patient comfort in a welcoming environment, better efficiency with its own diagnostic radiology room, other state-of-the-art technologies, and specialized treatment areas for specific patient populations all support the delivery of high-quality care.

Statement of Purpose:

The Registered Nurse maintains responsibility for the provision of professional nursing care demonstrated through the nursing process involving assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate a competent level of behavior in a professional role, including activities related to promotion of quality of care, performance appraisal, education, collegiality, ethics, collaboration, research and resource utilization(Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice - ANA, 2010).

chool of Nursing.

Certification / License: Current RN license in Massachusetts. Current CPR certification, ACLS and PALS certifications.
