JOB DESCRIPTION: General Surgery Physician Assistant

The Physician Assistant will work under the supervising Physician and provide pre-operative assessment, coordination of care, first assist during surgery, and post-operative follow up for inpatient services in the surgical operating room and on the patient care floor at Milford Regional Medical Center. The selected candidate will work as part of a 5-person Physician Assistant surgical team, covering general, urology, ENT, robotic gynecology, and plastic surgery.


  • Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
  • License/Certification: Must possess a valid Massachusetts Physician Assistant License and NCCPA Certification
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of one-year experience working as a Physician Assistant in a surgical capacity.
