Phlebotomist/Lab Support Tech I - Per Diem

Statement of Purpose:  
Cordially greets and receives patients, ascertains their needs and appropriately directs patients.  Has command of computer, uses telephone courteously and performs clerical duties.  Performs phlebotomy procedures, including blood cultures, EKG procedures, Breath Test,  MRSA and COVID swabbing.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Phlebotomy training preferred. 
Certification/License: Valid Driver’s license.  ASCP or eligible
Experience: Ability to communicate fluently in English. 
Computer/Keyboard experience helpful.  
Phlebotomy experience preferred.

• Per Diem position for our day shift 6a-230p.
• This position is every other weekend and rotating holidays. 
• Schedule is posted 1 month in advance. 
• Candidate will be trained in the main lab, emergency room, and inpatient floors. 

MRMC Differentials:

Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends.  All differentials are paid based per hospital policy
