Inpatient Coordinator

Under the general supervision of the Manager of the Admitting and Registration Departments, admits patients to their assigned beds according to the process designed for the Admitting Department. Initiates the appropriate forms, obtains patient signatures, and performs other miscellaneous office duties related to patient admissions.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Graduate
Experience:
One to two years related office experience preferred.
Data entry experience.
Customer service background helpful.
Medical Terminology helpful
Independent Action:
Under general supervision, performs work in accordance with established policies and procedures referring to the supervisor and department manuals for assistance in cases of non-routine patient admittance.
