Statement of Purpose:
Under the general direction of the Director of Cardiovascular Services, performs all technical and clerical procedures offered by the CVD Department for use in the diagnosis of heart disorders and for the diagnosis of some vascular disease.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of schooling; EKG course preferred or successful completion of the National Healthcare Association (NHA) EKG Technician Certification Exam. The incumbent will participate in on-the-job training and orientation for 3 weeks. Following orientation and training, the incumbent is expected to perform duties and responsibilities autonomously, adhering to MRMC standards and procedures as well as industry best practices. Current CPR skills. Cardiovascular courses offered by MRMC. One to two years related experience.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
