Administrative Assistant to Chief Medical Officer

Statement of Purpose:

Performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for the Chief Medical Officer and Quality and Organizational Excellence teams, including calendar maintenance.

Qualifications:

Education: High school graduate, equivalent of 1-2 college or post-secondary executive secretarial training.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Certification / License: None

Experience: 

Three to five years of administrative assistant experience in a hospital administration environment, preferably working with physicians. 

Excellent typing skills, advanced Excel spreadsheet skills, and working familiarity with medical terminology. 

Experience with PowerPoint, Outlook, and graphic design. 

Capable of independently prioritizing daily activities in order to utilize time in an effective and efficient manner. 

Experience answering telephones and managing complex schedules.

MRMC Differentials:

Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $5.00 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends.  All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
