Statement of Purpose:
Cordially greets and receives patients, ascertains their needs and appropriately directs patients. Has command of computer, uses telephone courteously and performs clerical duties. Performs phlebotomy procedures including bleeding times, blood cultures and EKG procedures.
Education: High School Diploma or GED. Phlebotomy training required.
Certification / License: Valid Drivers license. ASCP or eligible.
Experience: Ability to communicate fluently in English. Computer experience required. Phlebotomy experience preferred.
**This position is for staffing evening hours at satellite labs associated with Urgent Care sites. Candidate must have reliable transportation and the ability to work independently. Candidate must be comfortable servicing all patient age groups, including infants and children. Strong computer and customer service skills are required. Strong phlebotomy experience preferred.
