Patient Financial Assistance Representative/Financial Advisor

Department Registration (Call Center) Schedule Full-time Shift Days and Evenings Hours 40hrs./weekdays/10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Statement of Purpose:
Ensures patients are appropriately financially covered for their medical needs.  Works in collaboration with patients, clinicians, insurance companies, and healthcare administration to ensure patients are financially cleared to have medical and surgical services.The Patient Financial Assistant Representative/Financial Advisor has a direct impact on patients’ wellbeing by providing guidance and facilitating access to vital financial programs and services.They help to analyze a patient’s financial status and provide suggestions for how the patient can cover their healthcare costs. 

Qualifications:
Education:  High school diploma required.  Bachelor's degree or equivalent healthcare experience preferred

Certification / License:  Must be willing to become a Certified Application Counselor (CAC)

Experience:  Prior experience in a customer service role, Meditech experience a plus
