Cook- Sign On Bonus Included-Full Benefits

Department Food & Nutrition Schedule Full-time Shift Day & E/O Weekends Hours 40 hours, all shifts-(11a.m. - 7:30p.m./e/o weekend & holidays)

$500 -SIGN ON BONUS 

Statement of Purpose:

Under the direct supervision of the Chef, prepares, cooks, and serves a wide variety of food items for Patients Services or Retail Operations. May work on grill, fryer, salad bar, or other areas of kitchen as needed

Qualifications:

Education:High School degree or equivalent preferred, culinary degree preferred but not required.

Certification / License:Food safety certification required within 6 months from date of hire.

Experience:

Education:  High school degree or equivalent, culinary degree preferred.

Certification / License:Food safety certification required within 6 months from date of hire.

Experience:  Demonstrates thorough Knowledge + skill in ability to prepare cook, and serve all food products to :
All age levels.

Supervisory experience preferred.

1-3 years institutional cooking preferred.

Basic knowledge of quantity food production required.

Health Care Food Service experience preferred, but not required.

MRMC Differentials:

Hospital differentials are: $2.75 hourly for weekends.  All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
